Cannons have a higher dps than multi cannons so they help take down the larger ships like Asp's, type 6's and 7's, pythons, federal dropships, imperial clippers, and anaconda.

i get roughly 2m per hour with a type 6 and a 4A fsd.
source: Redditshow context
I noticed it started happening while I was in a combat ready Cobra, and still happens after I switched to my travelling salesman Type 6.
source: Redditshow context
They're not confused, that's just the Type-6's mating dance.
source: Redditshow context
I know my Type-6 can reliably get to 140-145% heat before it starts taking damage.
source: Redditshow context
I traded it in for a Type 6 so I could keep trading without loosing more money.
source: Redditshow context
You'll probably want close to 2 million credits to immediately jump into a Type 6.
source: Redditshow context
Trading in my Cobra for a Type-6 with all the extra kit on it would have left me with less than 2mil credits.
source: Redditshow context
Flew all the way to today Lave from deep imperial space, parked my Viper at Lave (didn't sell it) and bought a Type-6 Hauler to trade rares though.
source: Redditshow context
chea, just gotta find a good close set of systems and get a Type 6

The nearly foolproof strategy of 'submit, then boost away' works equally well in a type 6 as it did with an Adder, except the type 6 makes significantly more profit per trip... all assuming you don't have a ~100% interdiction evasion rate already (and the only reason not to evade every AI is you don't have a joystick).
source: Redditshow context
Again, seems perfectly tuned for an Adder, but once you jump into a Type 6 it should become 5x more difficult along with your 5x more profit.
source: Redditshow context
Same for the Type 6.
source: Redditshow context
If it helps, the Type 6 flies like a streamlined brick.
source: Reddit
I think ill try combat for now in it while i make enough to buy a type 6.
source: Redditshow context
He he, I never even got interdiction attempts in my cobra, soon as I bought the type 6 it was at least once for every run

The one who uses a few rolls of electrical tape to fix a leak and take 3 minutes doing it or the plumber who creates an entire schematic of the plumbing system on the entire block, and takes a month to order 6 types of parts, trying them all, until the most adequate fix is found that will last 200 years, is visually pleasing, increases utility and handles more work at less cost, is faster and smaller, who ultimately charges you $2000.
source: Redditshow context
I have a short run thats approximately 1.4 mill an hour for a type 6 with 100 ton
source: Redditshow context
Pretty much my only interaction with another human was on the first trip I took with my new Type 6.
source: Redditshow context
Outfitted the Viper to use A class modules for nearly everything, then after some extra bounty hunting, flew to Lave today and bought a Type 6.
source: Redditshow context
Lucky you, I lost 3 million whilst moving up into a Type 6.
source: Reddit
buy type 6. do a day of trading in it - sell and switch to cobra and upgrade it.
source: Redditshow context
Keep the type 6 until you can get a 7, store the Asp somewhere and use it for exploring, bounty hunting, rare runs once you get decent mods in it.
source: Redditshow context
There's no point in using an Asp for trading as the type 6 does it better - the only advantage of the asp is the longer jump range, but it needs you to invest in an A FSD to see the benefit.

My Type 6 is called "Ye Olde Flying Brick"
source: Redditshow context
I had finally made it a Type 6 with 300k during trade.
source: Redditshow context
I just switched to a Type 6 from a well fitted Cobra for rares trading, very easy transition money wise.
source: Redditshow context
I'm halfway to a type 6 with my bounty money.
source: Redditshow context
That half and half strategy sounds interesting I did consider that for a bit, but alas I wanna save up for that type 6 too.
source: Redditshow context
After sinking all of my money into my new Type 6 and a hold full of precious cargo I call it: PLEASE NO INTERDICTION OH GOD PLEASE IT'S JUST A FEW LS AWAY NO INTERDICTION PLEASE GOD.

The same things that work in a PvP match just don't work when you have your average game that you gun down 1000 enemies of 5-6 varying types.
source: Redditshow context
Thinking I'm going to buy a type 6 now tho!
source: Redditshow context
I just switched back from an Asp to a fully upgraded Type 6.
source: Redditshow context
I'll like run the Type 6 for a while and pair it with combat fitted Viper.
source: Redditshow context
The only advice i can offer here is to make sure you have cash on hand after purchasing the Type 6 outright.
source: Redditshow context
Nothing happened for me, but I finally got into a Type 6 from my Cobra and have made a couple million the normal way over about six hours of trading.
source: Redditshow context
Rares are best with the Cobra and Type 6, bordering on Asp.
source: Redditshow context
Took us about an hour to load up the type 6 - about half the time it takes to load up 100 tons of rare goods by visiting different stations/ waiting for the rares to restock.
source: Reddit
I'm doing rares right now for a change of pace but I had no problems at all mining with my Type 6 set up for 80 tons, two lasers, and a six bin refinery.
source: Redditshow context
I play in Open with my Type 6, I can see why most traders play solo.
source: Redditshow context
If I'm going with class 5 shield and 92 slots, I might as well take a Type 6 because they at least have 104 slots.
source: Redditshow context
Needless to say, I am happy with the Type 6 because even with 50% hull damage, it's way more cost effective than the Asp.
source: Redditshow context
Currently running in a Type 6 and running rares as I still seem to be able to make money quicker doing that than regular trading.
source: Redditshow context
Whoa buddy, I don't think there are 6 types of people represented there

What type of medicine did you study?

Watch out though, you only get 90% of the value of the ship when selling components, so selling a type 6, to only later switch back to it would result in a 100,000Cr loss (for a basic Type 6 too)
source: Reddit
I have the same in my type 6 since it's much lighter than class 4's.
source: Redditshow context
I literally just bought a Type 6 about an hour ago.
