Personally I use the textbooks on the 삼지연 and 룡흥 tablet computers from DPRK which have built in Korean courses and textbooks for Korean elementary and high school kids which are pretty good, all linked to a Korean-English dictionary... For total beginners, the best are the books from the Koreans themselves, "Let's Learn Korean" and "Learn Korean on your own", the latter giving good descriptions of the 토문법 in English... And it has a CD-ROM available with sounds and videos to help with all the pronunciation stuff for beginners.
