If i could freeze frame you at the bottom of your squat, and like a rigged 3d model, pull your hips farther back several inches so that you were 'sticking your ass' out a bit more at the bottom, and asked you to tighten your lower back to stabilize the weight, i think that would help your form and resulting spinal pain.
